These Knoxville, TN, grocery stores will be open on Thanksgiving 2023

There’s no feeling quite like that sense of panic on Thanksgiving when you realize you’ve forgotten to get a key ingredient. But don’t worry, your gravy and pumpkin pie are safe.

Luckily, some local grocery stores will be open on the holiday. But they won’t all have normal hours, and some have unusual hours for the day before or for Black Friday, so you might need to time your emergency trip for whipped cream or extra rolls strategically. For chain stores such as Food City, Kroger and Walmart, be sure to check in with your local store before you go.
